- Beginner Quilter Region 10 - I live in landlocked Leicestershire with my husband and teenage son
- Learnt sewing, knitting, crochet from my mum and school in 70's and 80's - and when my son was born in 2007
- Won a bursary to Denman college for a creative yarn course. Wanted to get my sewing machine out again, attended a dressmaking evening class but preferred the little makes for quick wins.
- Had interest in P&Q for years, as I love colour and fabric but put it on the back-burner buying magazines and books sporadically
- 2018 - 2019 determined to be more creative instead of work, work, work - started researching classes but struggled to find anything suitable. Managed to get free tickets to FOQ in 2019, dragged my son there for a creative experience! Decided in 2020 to go on my own and get a bronze ticket! Been doing Insta research since
- 2020 Found a good 3 part beginners quilt school course - 1 before lockdown and then refunded!! Joined QG in Feb 2020, downloaded Greetings Quilt Pattern from MQG - currently W.I.P., whilst going to work and the allotment. Joined MQG in June
